Helping residents – and staff – feel confident at the ballot box

Your voice, your vote.

challenge

It shouldn't be this hard

In the communities we serve, many residents face real barriers to voting: complicated registration rules, inconsistent information, and lack of trust. Even our own staff weren't always clear on how to help. We knew we could do more than just encourage people to vote — we could help make it easier.

strategy

A movement for change

Our goal was to turn a one-time initiative into a lasting movement for change. We created state-specific toolkits with scannable QR codes that linked directly to voter registration and polling information, creating a streamlined, mobile-friendly voter hub. To give the campaign a human touch, we partnered with leadership and staff to create a storytelling series that added authenticity and reach. What began with a goal of registering 2,020 voters has now become an annual effort, empowering thousands to feel confident at the ballot box.

key takeaways

Voting is power. And we helped people claim it.

We proved that voting is a powerful lever for change. By using smart design, clear messaging, and a human touch, we didn't just register voters — we empowered people to feel confident at the ballot box. This initiative is a powerful example of how mission-driven communications can drive real-world impact.

don't just take my word for it

"This is just what all organizations should produce and how they should manage and report. I have shared it with the for-profit organizations I work with! The messaging and design and every detail is fantastic."
