1. MEMBERSHIP

1.A. Inclusion in The Emilys Kelley Collective (hereafter “THE COLLECTIVE”) does not constitute membership in any formal organization, society, guild, fellowship, coven, or limited liability entity, whether earthly or celestial. There are no dues, obligations, initiation rites, newsletters of consequence, or secret handshakes (though the latter is not categorically prohibited).

 

1.B. Eligibility is determined solely and entirely by possession of, or good-faith answering to, the name Emily Kelley (as reasonably interpreted; further defined in Section 2 below).

 

1.C. Submission of your information authorizes placement within this digital archive. That is the full extent of the arrangement. The Directory is intended as an ongoing, evolving record and makes no representation as to completeness, comprehensiveness, or cosmic finality.

 

1.D. In short: you will be listed. That is all. And also, somehow, that is enough.

 

2. ELIGIBILITY

2.A. It is the official position of THE COLLECTIVE that the “-ey” suffix in Kelley represents a visually satisfying and historically defensible arrangement of letters.

 

2.B. However, THE COLLECTIVE recognizes that the passage of time, migration across oceans, clerical interpretation, personal and/or professional preference, pen names, and certain ancestors with a relaxed attitude toward vowels may have resulted in modifications to the original construction.

 

2.C. Theretofore, pursuant to the entirely imaginary bylaws of THE COLLECTIVE, eligibility to THE COLLECTIVE as an "Emily Kelley" shall include reasonable variations of both given and surname, including but not limited to Emilie, Emilee, Kelly, and other historically drifted or administratively altered configurations.

 

2.D. Accordingly, the determining factor shall be recognizable alignment, audibly and/or phonetically, with the name "Emily Kelley," whether by birth, marriage, prior documentation, or sustained self-identification.

 

2.E. Eligibility shall not be denied on the basis of reasonable orthographic variations, such as additional vowels, relocated vowels, omitted vowels, or vowels displaying independent behavior.

2.F. Notwithstanding the foregoing, THE COLLECTIVE reserves the right to ensure that vowels in your listing are “appropriately” represented, and that any prior familial or marital affiliation (e.g., a maiden name of Kelley) shall be duly reinstituted in the record for purposes of archival completeness.

 

2.G. Furthermore, no member of THE COLLECTIVE shall, under any circumstances, require the submission of a government-issued document, sworn affidavit, pinky-swear, or notarized declaration beyond the legally binding and wholly sufficient authority of your LinkedIn profile as proof of eligibility. Nor shall any member compel you to alter the legal and/or practical orthography of your name, engage in administrative gymnastics, or otherwise navigate procedural hoops in order to gain admittance to THE COLLECTIVE.

2.H. In cases of substantial reinterpretation (e.g., inversions, creative reorderings, or ambitious rebrandings), such arrangements may be reviewed at the sole and mildly capricious discretion of THE COLLECTIVE and it's heirs or assignees.

 

2.I. In all instances, the presence of the internal creative spark shall be prioritized over strict orthographic compliance (see Sections 2.D and 2.E).

 

3. GENERAL DISCLAIMER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITIES

3.A. THE COLLECTIVE makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding shared personality traits, aesthetic sensibilities, handwriting styles, strategic instincts, or preferred shade of green, notwithstanding compelling anecdotal evidence.

 

3.B. Inclusion in the Directory confers no supernatural abilities, inherited design acumen, or heightened powers of creative discernment. Individual outcomes may vary, and objects in mirror are closer than they appear.
